Summary
Join Nexla, a fast-growing startup transforming the data industry, as a full-stack AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications that enhance the capabilities of our platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years in full-stack software development, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, or similar frameworks; solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with Python, FastAPI and experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience integrating LLM models into production
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and Pinecone
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI-powered features in our platform, integrating machine learning models to solve complex data problems
- Create user-friendly, responsive UIs using modern JavaScript frameworks (React) to enhance the user experience
- Build scalable and efficient server-side applications using Python, FastAPI and manage cloud-based microservices
- Use LLM for solving business needs, optimizing them for real-time use cases and scaling them in production
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for AI applications, ensuring seamless data ingestion and processing
- Utilize AWS or GCP to manage cloud resources, automate deployments, and ensure scalability using Kubernetes and Docker
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to align technical solutions with business goals
- Implement best practices for data security and privacy, ensuring compliance with regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) models and data, especially relevant to data integration and query processing
- Experience with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes for managing infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with building ETL pipelines and working with large-scale data processing
