Summary

BayNova is seeking a skilled Developer with experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js to join their team for a federal government project. The role primarily focuses on back-end development, including developing REST APIs, and is fully remote.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Back End Developer, Full Stack Developer, or similar role
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Experience developing and configuring REST APIs
• Familiarity with database technologies
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with software management tools (e.g. Atlassian, Zenhub)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular for front-end and Node.js for back-end
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Develop and configure REST APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices
• Continuously improve the codebase through refactoring and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Angular
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development
