Full Stack Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with a mix of frontend and backend development
• Experience with Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS or similar languages & frameworks
• Strong programming skills in more than one language
• Solid Git fundamentals
• Strong SQL proficiency
• Excellent instincts on the design & maintenance of RESTful APIs

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and review user stories, requirements, and design documents
• Ship great code
• Build new features
• Make architecture decisions about whole new systems
• Converse with business owners and translate complex business requirements into maintainable code
• Create and maintain modular, reusable, frontend code

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise with modern CSS frameworks and best practices
• Comfortable working with Docker
• Produced code for any security-conscious industry (e.g. Fintech)
• Experience deploying scalable services in AWS via ECS & RDS
• Familiarity with one or more of the following e-commerce platforms: Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce, NetSuite, WooCommerce
