Full Stack Developer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Full Stack Developer at KMK, a global data analytics and commercial operations consulting firm. The candidate should have experience in JavaScript ES6 based frameworks and be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages. Responsibilities include designing software architecture, building applications, developing APIs, troubleshooting issues, and writing technical documentation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end languages, frameworks and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript ES6, ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, PHP)
• Hands-on experience working on JavaScript ES6 and NodeJS
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and deployment procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail and analytical mind

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to build software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design with a mobile responsive design
• Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code
• Write effective APIs with NodeJS
• Troubleshoot, debug and identify root cause analysis of issues
• Write technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Having experience with AWS SDK for JS, EC2, S3 instances etc
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Understanding of Docker
