Full Stack Developer

Summary

Join NEC Software Solutions and become a Full Stack Developer contributing to the development of modern applications. As a member of a small, skilled team, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with customers, develop application logic and user interfaces, and maintain production systems. This role requires expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, and backend web application development. Requirements

• Have expert hands-on knowledge and the ability to lead by example, offer solutions and contribute to an expanding team
• Have JavaScript (TypeScript & React) development experience for the frontend
• Have Python development experience for the backend
• Be able to design and develop clean and easy-to-use user interfaces
• Have Backend programming experience for web applications (CRUD)
• Be comfortable speaking to users to gather requirements
• Have basic familiarity with core serverless AWS components and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Have a track record of delivering software features into production
• Have a solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Hold or be able to hold UK NPPV-3 and SC clearances

Responsibilities

• Spend a significant amount of time hands-on in the production of software for NECSWS products
• Prepare and produce releases of software and push into production
• Discuss requirements with customers and identify potential solutions
• Develop application logic and associated user interfaces for required changes
• Setup infrastructure (IaC) needed to support updates
• Work with members of the teams to ensure customer-centric development of features
• Develop and improve the testing strategies (unit test, integration testing, etc) using suitable testing libraries
• Solve problems
• Code reviews
• Investigate new technologies
• Provide support for production systems
• Responsive support to customer reported issues
• Analysis of logs to identify issues and provide solutions
