Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer at Störk-Tronic, a leading manufacturer of temperature regulators. The employee will work on designing and implementing backend solutions for innovative projects. They require a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge in modern software design, and at least two years' experience in Microservice architectures.

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma study (Informatics or a comparable field) or equivalent experience with at least three years of professional experience
• Know-how in modern software design and architecture as well as connected applications
• Strong knowledge in the use of development environments, tools, and programming languages: Java, Jersey, Python, XML/JSON, SQL/NoSQL, SOAP/REST, Bash/Korn
• Frameworks: Amazon AWS, Kinesis, Jersey
• Databases: Postgres SQL, DynamoDB, Redis
• Tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jira
• CI/CD: Jenkins is advantageous
• Basic knowledge in data transfer protocols, network technology, and IoT bus technologies (MQTT, HTTP, Websockets)
• At least two years of experience in setting up and operating Microservice architectures (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience with Big Data systems and service-oriented architectures is desirable
• Good German and English skills, French skills are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Development of robust backend components for the existing microservice architecture
• Extension of the existing microservice architecture
• Monitoring, operation, and optimization of the existing microservice architecture
• Definition of software interfaces and network APIs (REST, Websocket)
• Integration, modeling, and visualization of IoT devices
• Product presentation
