Requirements

  • Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of backend development, including database integration and asynchronous programming
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
  • Understanding of Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling of containerised applications
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and contribute innovative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build, maintain, and document RESTful or GraphQL APIs to support front-end and external integrations
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and performance
  • Leverage container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy, scale, and manage applications
  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions, preferably in AWS environments using services like EKS
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
  • Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into existing solutions where relevant

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases)
