Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of backend development, including database integration and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Understanding of Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling of containerised applications
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and contribute innovative solutions
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build, maintain, and document RESTful or GraphQL APIs to support front-end and external integrations
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and performance
- Leverage container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy, scale, and manage applications
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions, preferably in AWS environments using services like EKS
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into existing solutions where relevant
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases)
