Full Stack Engineer with Backend Focus

Summary

Join Constructor's Searchandizing team as a passionate and skilled full-stack engineer. You will build and maintain tools for global e-commerce brands to manage their product discovery experience, focusing on the Searchandizing dashboard, system stability, and scalability. The goal is to enhance the product discovery experience for shoppers and improve the onboarding process for new merchandisers. Constructor is a leading platform for search and discovery in e-commerce, powering over 1 billion queries daily. The company values empathy, openness, and continuous improvement. Requirements

• Have hands on experience with Python
• Have strong hands on experience with backend development
• Have hands on experience with devops tools like (AWS-ECS, Cloud Watch,..etc)
• Have experience launching and operating backend systems
• Have hands on experience with Flask or similar web frameworks for building APIs
• Experience owning and deploying full stack services
• Experience with automated testing practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the tools used by merchandisers of global e-commerce brands to manage their product discovery experience
• Deliver features for our Searchandizing dashboard
• Improve system stability
• Scale our solutions to better serve merchandisers
• Enhance the product discovery experience for shoppers worldwide
• Improve the onboarding process for new merchandisers, making it faster and easier for them to get up and running on the Constructor platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands on experience with react is a plus
• Familiarity with frontend best coding practices
• Experience working in remote environments will be a plus
