Summary

Join Sandbox Wealth as a Full Stack Engineer and help modernize private banking for clients of non-bank financial institutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, building responsive front-end apps with Next.js/React and scalable back-end APIs with Python. Collaborate with design, product, and security teams to deliver features, write clean and well-tested code, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security requirements. Contribute to product documentation and technical best practices. This role reports to the Head of Engineering and offers the opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art platform with an experienced leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development, ideally within a FinTech or high-growth startup environment
  • Proficiency in Python and Next.js/React
  • Familiarity with both Relational and Non-Relational Databases
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Strong understanding of modern development principles, software architecture, and security practices
  • Experience with testing frameworks and debugging tools
  • Proficient in version control tools such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment
  • Build responsive front-end apps and intuitive user interfaces with Next.js/React
  • Design and implement scalable back-end APIs and services using Python
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and security teams to define and deliver features
  • Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code across the full stack
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Contribute to and improve our CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
  • Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software across environments
  • Ensure software meets all requirements for performance, scalability, configurability, and security
  • Contribute to product documentation and technical best practices
