Full Stack PHP Developer

Summary

Join our team as a skilled developer to customize BigCommerce storefronts, maintain and enhance Symfony and WordPress applications, and troubleshoot technical issues. You will develop new features, create customer-facing content, and design high-converting sales pages. This role requires proven experience in software development, proficiency in PHP, Git, and other technologies, and excellent communication skills. Experience with AWS, Python, and other platforms is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a software development role
• Encyclopedic knowledge of PHP, Git, Semantic HTML, Javascript (> ES 2016), CSS & Sass
• At least more than 2 year of experience in Symfony and knowledgeable in supporting and maintaining Symfony middleware integration
• Excellent Communication Skills in English in order to understand requirements clearly and effectively collaborate with foreign counterparts
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working with a multinational team

Responsibilities

• Customize elements on the BigCommerce storefront to improve functionality
• Maintain and enhance applications built with Symfony and WordPress
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Develop and implement new features to improve user experience
• Create and refine customer-facing content
• Design high-converting sales pages within the CMS
• Manage and optimize the WordPress site hosted on WPEngine
