Full Stack Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Full Stack Software Engineer at LearnWorlds, a remote or office-based e-learning company. The role involves enhancing the codebase, engaging in UI initiatives, collaborating with teams, and participating throughout the project life-cycle. Proven 3+ years of experience in Object-oriented software development (PHP) is required.

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years experience in Object-oriented software development (we use PHP)
• Solid understanding of web standards and usability, how web pages/applications are delivered, and how browsers function (HTTP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
• Sufficient knowledge of NoSQL (we mainly use MongoDB) & PostgreSQL
• Javascript (we use VueJS)
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Enthusiastic, determined, organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time and focus. Team player, with close attention to detail
• Native or near-native Greek speaker

Responsibilities

• Enhance our codebase by incorporating new functionality
• Engage in UI initiatives, such as Interactive Video Authoring tool and the Sales Page Builder
• Lead projects focused on developing sales technologies, including marketing automation modules
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, product management, sales, and operations teams to fully comprehend product requirements
• Participate throughout the entire project life-cycle
• Attend Scrum team meetings to report overall progress and highlight any obstacles that need to be addressed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing migration strategies from a monolith to services
• Desire to work with Go
• Past experience with LMS system
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Open-source contributions
