Full-Stack Developer

Summary

Dynamis is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support a government client in Herndon, VA. The role involves data source API integration, database creation and implementation, report generation, testing, and automation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain Suitability required for this position
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of development experience (any languages)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python
• Minimum 2 years of experience with relational or NoSQL database technologies (Postgres, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Minimum 1 year of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Minimum 1 year of experience with AWS

Responsibilities

• Support in data source API integration, including Python scripting, database creation and implementation to store and query results, report generation, units testing, regression testing in an AWS environment
• Support ongoing script, report, and software code automation, maintenance, testing, and enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DevOps lifecycle and coordinating requirements with development teams
• Advanced coding and programming experience preferred: Python and Python frameworks (like Django, Flask or Pyramid), Front-end technologies (like HTML5, Javascript, Node.js, React), Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM), Relational/Non-relational databases (like Postgres, MongoDB), Docker, UNIX/Linux OS and CLI, Core AWS services, RESTful API, AI development experience (NLP or Machine Learning)
• Confident Git and Github skills
• AWS development experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
