Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Node.js development experience using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Proficient with AWS services, including Lambda functions
• Experience with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience using NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB
• Experience with React
• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for front-end development
• Highly skilled in one or more database technologies: MySQL, DynamoDB, MSSQL, NoSQL, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant years of work experience

Responsibilities

Implementing solutions that work closely within the context of multiple platforms, SaaS products, and cloud applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in decomposing monolithic applications into microservices
• Proficient in AWS services, including Lambda functions
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with Serverless Frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of APM tools such as AWS Xray, Nagios, Datadog, NewRelic, AppDynamics, and Zenoss
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including OWASP Top 10, PCI-DSS, SOC II, and HIPAA compliance
