Fullstack Engineer

Join ABOUT YOU's Purchasing Interface Team as a skilled Fullstack Engineer! You will build high-traffic web applications using PHP (Laravel), JavaScript/TypeScript (Vue 3), and RESTful APIs. Collaborate with the Lead Engineer on design and architecture decisions, implementing features within a newly designed business process. Work with continuous deployments and industry-standard monitoring tools. Learn from a highly skilled team and share your ideas. This role requires excellent coding skills in PHP 8 (Laravel), TypeScript, and JavaScript, along with experience in building complex products and working with AWS, Git, MySQL, and Redis.

Requirements

• Excellent coding skills in PHP 8 (Laravel)
• Excellent coding skills in Typescript and Javascript
• In depth knowledge of the Vue 3 Framework
• Solid background in building complex and beautiful products which provide an excellent user experience
• Good technical understanding of RESTful API’s
• Experience working with AWS, Git, MySQL, Redis, or equivalent
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Ready to work in an English-speaking environment

Responsibilities

• Build high-traffic web applications with PHP (Laravel) & JavaScript / TypeScript (Vue 3)
• Build internal & external RESTful API as well as Background Jobs in a high-scaling architecture
• Engage in decisions ranging from Design to application architecture together with the Lead Engineer and explore new technologies
• Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s needs
• Implement E2E features within the Purchasing Interface with a newly designed business process
• Work with continuous Deployments (Gitlab Pipelines, AWS Elastic Container Service) and monitor applications with industry-standard tools (Datadog)
• Learn from other developers in a highly skilled team and present your ideas in our regular Tech talks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Intertia.js
• Experience with SCSS
• Experience in Tailwind CSS
• Experience in creating Integration tests
