Summary
Join Chime's growing Growth Engineering team as a Full-Stack Growth Engineer to build and iterate on high-impact features and experiments that improve member acquisition, engagement, retention, and resurrection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Data Science, and Marketing, to identify friction points and implement solutions that enhance member value and fuel Chime's growth. The role involves designing and implementing full-stack solutions, launching experiments, measuring impact, iterating quickly, building high-quality member experiences, and contributing to the technical strategy. You will own projects end-to-end and help maintain strong engineering standards. The base salary is $125,000 to $218,900, plus a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience shipping software in production at scale
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable back-end frameworks
- Proven experience with React Native or similar modern mobile front-end frameworks
- A growth mindset and passion for building simple, intuitive user experiences that move key metrics
- Comfort working in fast-paced, experiment-driven environments
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack solutions to test and scale new growth initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to launch experiments, measure impact, and iterate quickly
- Build high-quality member experiences that drive key funnel metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, conversion)
- Contribute to the technical strategy for our growth stack, balancing speed and scalability
- Use data and user research to inform priorities and validate assumptions
- Own projects end-to-end, from idea to production and analysis
- Help maintain strong engineering standards, ensuring high quality and performance
