Fullstack Engineer

Requirements

• +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer. (Backend, Frontend, or Fullstack), designing, building, and deploying user-facing and API-based products
• Proven TypeScript and React programming skills
• Familiar with software development best practices (Test, CI/CD, DevOps, Security…)
• Curiosity and ability to dig into a topic and follow through
• Ability to balance between impact and thoroughness in a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency
• Fluent in both French and English

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Be an active contributor within the Fullstack squad owning Kiln user-facing products ( Dashboard , dApp , Explorer )
• Design, develop and implement new features
• Participate in code review, test and CI/CD processes, bug fixing, and code maintenance
• Interact with customers for debugging purposes and product discovery
• Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company)
• Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices
• Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• PHP/Laravel programming skills
• Familiar with blockchain ecosystem, Ethereum Virtual Machine and smart contracts
• Experience in a fast-growing, early-stage startup
