Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Full-stack Engineer to work on a project for a leading digital personal finance company, leveraging proprietary data and analytics to create tailored solutions for each step of its members' financial journey.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Full-stack React and Node.js Developer
• Fluent English
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its ecosystem
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience with server-side programming using Node.js
• Database experience, preferably with MySQL
• Familiarity with build tools and package managers
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Implement modern and responsive user interfaces
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Next.js for React applications
• Experience with Contentful or other headless CMS platforms
• Proficiency in Jest testing framework
• Familiarity with Material-UI or other UI component libraries
• Experience in building APIs with Node.js
