Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Collaborate with engineers to build interfaces, consume and create backend data, and communicate architecture choices. This role requires 3+ years of experience with Rails backend and a front-end JS framework (React preferred), strong Python skills, and API design understanding. You will design, develop, code, test, and debug user interfaces and web application components. Requirements

• 3+ years experience working with a Rails backend
• 3+ years experience with a front end JS framework (preferable React JSON Schema)
• Strong experience with Python
• A solid understanding of API design and how backend systems work
• The ability to write code that is a pleasure for other engineers to read and understand
• Expertise in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging user interfaces and web application components
• Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups
• Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
• Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with other engineers in building out interfaces that match designs
• These interfaces consume and create data from the backend
• Your input will help drive the direction and format of data endpoints
• Your day to day efforts will include communicating architecture choices to other team members
