Fullstack Senior Developer

Summary

Join Thoughtworks as a Senior Software Developer and collaborate with diverse teams to design and implement innovative software solutions for our clients. You will modernize legacy applications, contribute to migrations to React, and champion best practices like TDD and pair programming. You'll lead software development teams using Agile methodologies, design solutions using various technologies, and advocate for continuous delivery. This role requires strong technical skills in .NET, React, and related technologies, as well as experience leading teams and a passion for continuous learning. Requirements

• English advanced is required
• Have experience with C#. NET, including development of RESTful APIs and Microservices, and are comfortable with the latest Object-Oriented technology
• Knowledge of React/Redux, including CSS, Webhooks, and good frontend practices
• Have led software development teams using Agile, Lean and/or Continuous
• Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing and infrastructure automation

Responsibilities

• Modernize custom legacy applications developed primarily in .NET
• Contribute to the migration effort to React during modernization
• Collaborate with the delivery team to implement an efficient roadmap for modernization, demonstrating best practices in product delivery
• Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming and design patterns
• Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to evolution in production and everything in between
• Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software as well as value to end customers as early as possible
• Design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints and make pragmatic tradeoffs
• Collaborate with a variety of teammates to build features, design concepts and interactive prototypes and ensure best practices and UX specifications are embedded along the way
• Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems
• Apply a variety of languages and tools to your work and continue to code alongside Developers; you will not be post-technical in this role
• Efficiently utilize and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software, advocating devops culture and shifting security left in development
• Cultivate Thoughtworker growth and development by encouraging feedback and fostering an inclusive, supportive team culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud technology such as AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
• Enjoy continuously learning and improving, whether it is through functional programming paradigms, event driven architecture, platform engineering or others
• Enjoy influencing others and always advocate for technical excellence while being open to change when needed
• Presence in the external tech community: you willingly share your expertise with others via speaking engagements, contributions to open source, blogs and more
• You’re resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach challenges from multiple perspectives
