Summary
Join Airbnb's Payments team and contribute to a platform that empowers millions of hosts globally. As a full-stack engineer, you will architect and implement complex features, focusing on data-driven decision-making and performance optimizations. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to prioritize technical requirements and proactively enhance your knowledge of workflow orchestration systems. You will also help define and improve coding standards and development processes. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional office visits or offsites.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a hands-on full-stack engineering role building large-scale consumer-facing products
- Bachelor’s and/or Master/PhD’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in frontend web technologies (e.g. Javascript/Typescript, React, Node.js, CSS and Graphql etc)
- Exposure to Java and/or Kotlin
- Demonstrated expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures
- Passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality and system quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within engineering organization and cross functions
