Summary

Join Airbnb's Payments team and contribute to a platform that empowers millions of hosts globally. As a full-stack engineer, you will architect and implement complex features, focusing on data-driven decision-making and performance optimizations. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to prioritize technical requirements and proactively enhance your knowledge of workflow orchestration systems. You will also help define and improve coding standards and development processes. This US-remote eligible position offers a competitive salary and potential for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role in full-stack development
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master/PhD’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to Java and/or Kotlin
  • Fluency in frontend web technologies  (e.g. Javascript/Typescript, React, CSS and Graphql etc)
  • Demonstrated expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures
  • Passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality and system quality
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work well within engineering organization and cross functions

Responsibilities
