Fullstack Software Engineer

Summary

Join Mitratech's global team as a 100% remote Mid-level Fullstack Software Engineer! Contribute to the growth of our brands and product portfolio by building and integrating our background screening platform (AssureHire). As a technical leader, you'll work with a talented engineering group to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software. This role reports to the Director of Screening and involves collaboration with product and engineering peers. You'll architect solutions to complex problems and deliver valuable features for our robust analytics platform. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of software engineering experience with SaaS applications
• Possess strong experience with server rendered web applications (vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL)
• Possess knowledge of Git source control, versioning/branching, rebasing, etc
• Have experience using AWS systems (RDS, EC2, RDS, Security Groups, CloudWatch, Ops tools, etc.)
• Be comfortable being a part of a globally distributed product development team and with team members having diverse skill levels and experience
• Be a good communicator and capable of appropriately engaging in constructive conflict
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Contribute high-quality software and engineering expertise as a technical leader
• Focus on building out our background screening platform (AssureHire)
• Integrate AssureHire with internal and external partners
• Deliver high-quality, well-tested, secure, scalable software that delivers exceptional experiences for our platform
• Architect solutions to complex problems
• Deliver valuable features critical to our success as we look to build out a robust analytics platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Have recent experience with Go and RoR
• Have experience working with the backend. Preferably Python
• Have experience writing software in support of a successful web application
• Have an emphasis in engineering, data science, computer science or information systems (for Bachelor's degree)
