Game Penetration Tester in Brazil

Summary

The job is for a full-time penetration tester at Magic Media, focusing on securing gaming titles. The candidate should have extensive experience in penetration testing, expertise in finding and exploiting vulnerabilities, strong knowledge about serialization and cryptographic algorithms, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for video games.

Requirements

• Expertise in finding and exploiting vulnerabilities
• Experience in pentesting of mobile applications and thick clients
• Great understanding and experience in Python and C++
• Strong knowledge about serialization and cryptographic algorithms
• Capable of mentoring, from juniors to seniors
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technological changes as per project need
• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing
• A passion for video games

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with several team members at the same time
• Test mobile, PC and console games for security vulnerabilities
• Report findings in a professional manner
• Work with custom Python and C++ tooling

Preferred Qualifications

• Have worked on several projects at the same time
• Experienced with multiplayer gameplay systems, network replication and various gaming engines
• Solid technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science / Maths Degree or equivalent)
