GCC Community Manager, Web3 - Middle East & North Africa

Summary

The job is for a Community Manager position at Binance, responsible for managing and growing local communities in the GCC region. The role involves implementing community-building strategies, sharing market feedback, serving as the main point of contact for the community, and managing the Binance Angels program.

Requirements

• Must have strong knowledge of crypto/blockchain space, related terminologies and trends and have a liking for the industry
• Proven experience of at least 3 years launching and managing community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, managing social media platforms)
• Deep understanding of the MENA region with a focus on GCC
• Strong knowledge of marketing channels and community platforms such as Telegram and Discord
• Be able to work flexible and stretched hours when required to address high priority escalations and needs sourced from the crypto community
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills to generate insights with data
• Execution oriented mindset - with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get it done
• Must speak fluent English & Arabic

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage local online and offline Binance communities in the GCC
• Plan and implement community-building strategies via various local social channels and offline events to drive engagement and foster a sense of community among our users
• Share market feedback and user suggestions with relevant functional teams
• Serve as the main point of contact for the community while collaborating with the marketing and product teams to align all community expectations
• Manage the Binance Angels program and coordinate collaboration between Angels and the Binance team
