GCP Infrastructure Architect

The role requires extensive experience designing and implementing GCP solutions at enterprise scale and deep knowledge of GCP services. You will leverage your expertise in infrastructure as code, DevOps, and modern application architectures to deliver strategic guidance.

Requirements

• Have 8+ years of experience in software development using Python, Flask, and related technologies
• Have 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling, including Terraform and Azure ARM templates
• Have 2+ years of experience with React, VueJs, or Angular
• Have 2+ years of experience with Azure foundational services such as RBAC, VNets, ExpressRoute, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy
• Demonstrate experience working on projects using Microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and Azure PaaS services (Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL Database)
• Hold an Azure architect-level certification
• Have experience leading teams of 4 or more individual developers
• Have experience in a client-facing consulting role with strong communication skills
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or have equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GCP solutions at enterprise scale
• Possess deep knowledge of GCP services, architectural patterns, and Google's Cloud Architecture Framework
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of GCP security, compliance, governance, and cost optimization
• Utilize experience with infrastructure as code (Deployment Manager, Terraform), DevOps, and modern application architectures
• Balance technical solutions with business requirements and provide strategic guidance
• Exhibit excellent communication and consultative skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
