Genetic Counselor

Summary

Join Color Health, a population health technology company, as a Genetic Counselor supporting the NIH All of Us Research Program. You will provide telephone-based genetic counseling to participants, interpreting test results and offering guidance. The position requires a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling, ABGC certification, and relevant clinical experience. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
• Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC)
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of residence
• Clinical experience providing genetic counseling in at least one of the following areas: hereditary cancer, cardiovascular genetics, and/or pharmacogenomics

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone-based clinical genetic counseling for individuals receiving genomic screening results through the NIH All of Us Research Program
• Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and All of Us participants via phone and email, offering clear and compassionate support
• Review and interpret clinical genetic test reports as needed
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of Color’s genetic counseling workflows, documentation, and service delivery processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the implementation of population-scale genomics programs
• Contribute ideas and advocate for process improvements to enhance team efficiency, quality of care, and scalability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience counseling on results from the ACMG59 gene panel
• Experience delivering genetic counseling via telehealth
• Active licensure in multiple U.S. states (especially California)
• Experience serving diverse and/or underserved populations
• Strong background in providing excellent customer and provider support
