Join our Delivery Team as a Geospatial Application Engineer and contribute to the future of The National Map. You will use AWS tools to build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines for public-facing web applications and create user-friendly front-end experiences for USGS map and data products. This role involves developing high-performance web interfaces to make geospatial data accessible. You'll have the opportunity to significantly impact global access to geospatial data while working in a supportive team. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in related field +2 yearsβ experience in the field or related area
- Proven proficiency in Python
- Demonstrated expertise with AWS (AWS SDK, AWS CLI, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS EC2)
- Exhibited experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines, specifically using Gitlab Pipelines
- Established experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcPy
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server for spatial data management and web services
