Gis Database Engineer

Requirements

• Be proficient in software tools such as ESRI, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcSDE for data creation and integration
• Have strong experience utilizing programming languages such as Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python for GIS back-end applications
• Possess a solid understanding of SDE Versioning and its role in geospatial data management
• Have experience with ETL processes to facilitate smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Have a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a related field such as Computer Science, Geography, Geospatial Science, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related area with a focus on GIS technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance geospatial applications and back-end databases
• Automate workflows, perform advanced analysis, and integrate GIS systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD workflows
• Have familiarity with AWS for cloud-based solutions and geospatial data storage
• Have experience with C# and Visual Studio in developing and maintaining GIS-based software applications
