Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in ESG, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, or ethical sourcing, with a focus on global regulations and sustainability initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of global regulations, including CSRD, CSDDD, RoHS, REACH, and emerging frameworks such as PFAS restrictions
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive ESG initiatives across global supply chains
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including reporting, documentation, and customer inquiries
- Strong understanding of human rights due diligence processes, ethical sourcing practices, and circular economy principles
- Proven experience conducting regulatory gap assessments and implementing compliance strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and ESG requirements into actionable strategies
Responsibilities
- Develop and Lead ESG Programs: Build and execute comprehensive ESG programs that align with the company’s long-term sustainability goals, focusing on human rights and environmental standards across the supply chain
- Regulatory Gap Assessments: Conduct gap analyses between current processes and evolving regulatory standards such as CSRD, CSDDD, and ESG frameworks
- Monitor Global Regulations: Stay up-to-date with global regulations requiring lab testing, identifying changes that impact product compliance such as RoHS, PFAS, REACH, etc
- Compliance Maintenance: Oversee and implement necessary changes to meet compliance requirements, ensuring the company adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards
- Support the implementation of initiatives focused on sustainability, including circular economy strategies and downstream waste management
- Ensure human rights due diligence is embedded across the value chain, with a focus on ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, and compliance with international standards
- Conduct assessments to identify and close gaps between current processes and international human rights frameworks, working to improve ethical practices
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to ESG compliance, human rights violations, and sustainability within the supply chain. Develop actionable strategies for addressing these risks
- Prepare detailed ESG reports, metrics, and insights for executive leadership and other key decision-makers
- Manage and maintain all compliance-related data, ensuring accurate, auditable documentation that meets regulatory requirements
- Oversee the preparation and submission of the supply chain-related inputs for the company’s annual ESG report, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of supply chain data
- Ensure all necessary documentation and reporting related to the supply chain's role in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is properly maintained and submitted
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding risk, compliance, and ESG matters, ensuring timely, consistent, and comprehensive communication
- Establish and manage processes to efficiently handle large-scale requests from distributors and other internal stakeholders
- Regularly update the company’s internal tools with frequently asked questions and key information to streamline customer and distributor responses
Benefits
- The starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $93000 - $149500/YR
