Summary

Join our team as a Senior Golang Engineer to lead the migration of legacy systems and modernization of APIs. This crucial role ensures smooth integration with new systems while building audit-ready, future-proof data pipelines. You will migrate current systems to integrate with a new solution, collaborate with internal teams on their transition, and modernize the commissions API. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and secure data transfer, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to architectural discussions. Hands-on coding support for new and existing systems is also required. This is a long-term contract position, remote within the US.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years overall development experience in Golang
  • Strong experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot
  • Experience with Java or Pythonย for backend development
  • Familiarity with containerization tools
  • Experience with AWS technologies including ECS/Fargate, CloudFormation, SQS, and Lambda
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders and teams

Responsibilities

  • Migrate the current systems to integrate directly with a new solution
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to support their transition to new solutions as needed
  • Modernize the commissions API by designing and delivering a tokenized, reportable structure aligned with ITGC standards
  • Ensure data is passed accurately and securely to support audit readiness
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure required data is transferred appropriately
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and provide hands-on coding support for new and existing systems
