Golang Software Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and application support
• Strong programming skills in C# or Java or Golang
• Quick learner who has to ability to learn Golang
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries, with experience in MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex technical challenges
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing software applications
• Maintaining applications built in micro-services architecture
• Analyze legacy code and enhance existing systems for better performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Implement bug fixes, security patches, and system updates in a timely manner
• Collaborate with business analysts and support teams to understand user-reported issues and develop effective solutions
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation related to application updates and fixes
• Perform impact analysis and regression testing for system changes
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with debugging tools and performance monitoring
• Knowledge of software change management and release processes
• Familiarity with logging frameworks and error tracking tools
• Exposure to ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
