Grading Consultant

Summary

Join Wall Street Prep (WSP) as a Part-Time Grading Consultant for Summer 2025! This remote, flexible position is perfect for finance professionals or graduate students. You will evaluate student financial models and case studies, providing constructive feedback using a provided rubric. Projects are part-time and vary in length and frequency. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in financial modeling. Immediate availability is preferred, with project hours ranging from under 10 to over 20 hours.

Requirements

Candidates should have hands-on experience building at least some of the following financial models: 3-statement forecast models, Operating models, DCF models, Trading comps, Transaction comps, M&A models, LBO models

Responsibilities

• Grade a range of student financial modeling assignments with a high level of accuracy and consistency
• Follow a defined rubric and return all completed grading materials by the assigned deadline
• Provide helpful, clear feedback to students
• Track and organize all scores and materials
• Maintain prompt communication and meet all turnaround expectations (some projects may require a 2-day turnaround)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and stay organized across multiple projects
• Professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar finance-focused role
• Strong communication skills and reliability — we are looking for dependable individuals who take ownership of their work
