Summary
Join the MIIS team as a Program Graduate Assistant (GA) and support the successful operations of the MA Localization Project Management degree program. The GA will provide support to online students and the program, collaborating closely with the program director. This position involves tasks such as supporting internal and external program communication, proofreading program materials, facilitating student feedback, and conducting research. The role is compensated at a Level A rate ($16.50-$17.00/hour) and may be performed remotely from within the United States. Grading and assessment of learning are not included in the responsibilities. The position requires strong writing, editing, and communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with common office software.

- Must be in good academic standing and maintain satisfactory academic progress toward degree completion throughout the teaching assistantship
Responsibilities
- Support both internal and external program communication
- Proofread program descriptions and related articles for websites and social media
- Facilitate student feedback on the program, including in live townhall-style meetings
- Research various topics and resources related to localization and education, report findings, and recommend improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Preference is given first to student applicants enrolled in the online MA Localization Project Management degree program followed by student applicants enrolled in the residential MA Translation & Localization Management degree program
