Graphic Design Assistant

Summary

Join MoCaFi, a fintech company dedicated to financial inclusion, as a Freelance Graphic Design Assistant. You will collaborate with the Creative Director to support branding initiatives, content creation, and design projects across digital and print platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in branding, marketing, and financial technology, making it ideal for creative students or emerging designers. As part of the Marketing team, you will report to the Creative Director and work remotely with flexible hours, with the option for in-person opportunities in Union, NJ. The position requires a commitment of 10+ hours per week and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Requirements

• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Canva
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design
• Ability to manage multiple design projects with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating brand-aligned designs for social media, marketing materials, website content, and presentations
• Work within Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects), and Canva to design assets
• Edit and format video content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Maintain and organize MoCaFi’s design files and brand assets
• Support the development of campaign visuals, templates, and UI/UX elements for digital projects
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure all designs align with MoCaFi’s brand identity

Preferred Qualifications

• Some experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut) is a plus
• Bonus: Motion graphics and/or Wordpress skills is a plus
• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Digital Arts, or a related field
• Students from Kean, Rutgers, NJIT, Parsons, or FIT are encouraged to apply
