Summary

Join BBYO, a global network of passionate professionals, as a Part-Time Graphic Designer! This contract position, running through August 2026 with the possibility of annual renewal, offers a flexible 20 hours/week schedule at $28/hour or $2250/month. Based in Washington, DC, or remotely, you will create engaging designs for various projects, including international conventions, branding kits, and leadership conferences. You will utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining brand consistency and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong portfolio showcasing design work that resonates with Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

Requirements

  • Confidently use Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Confidently use Canva and build templates from designs made in Adobe software
  • Cleanly trim photos in Adobe Photoshop
  • Manage several tasks and projects at once
  • Create designs that entice and inspire Gen Z and Gen Alpha
  • Be a self-starter and get ahead of projects
  • Be detail-oriented (catch typos, fix alignment issues, and ensure brand consistency)
  • Consistently work toward and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • BBYO International Convention: SWAG, social media graphics, large-format prints (banners, meter boards, foam boards), app design, and other printed program materials
  • Campaign & Initiative Branding Kits: Flyer templates, letterheads, social graphics, and other digital assets
  • Global Leadership Training Conferences: Large-format prints, SWAG, posters, and slide decks
  • Training Resources
  • Special Strategic Projects

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or other Adobe software
