Summary

Join KnowBe4 as a Graphic Designer and conceptualize storyboard information, translating it into creative illustrations and graphical elements for engaging e-learning animations. You will leverage AI tools to create high-quality visual assets, consistently research design trends, and maintain design consistency across projects. Collaborate with eLearning developers, QA, and engineers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring content accessibility and adhering to KnowBe4's DEI statement. The ideal candidate is an AI enthusiast with a passion for transforming learning experiences. You will work with other eLearning developers, QA and engineers in a fast-paced environment using product/project management tools and developing standards for partners. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AI design tools.

Requirements

  • BA, BFA or comparable work/life experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience
  • Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Experience in creating training guides, educational materials, infographics and graphic animations
  • Experience with AI tools (ie...ElevenLabs, Google Veo 3, HeyGen, Synthesia Midjourney AI, RunwayML,ect.)
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to give clear feedback to other team members
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to prompt, create and integrate AI-generated elements seamlessly with human-created content
  • Knowledge of best practices for AI content creation and curation in design
  • Adaptability and openness to evolving AI capabilities and applications in eLearning
  • A critical eye for ensuring AI-generated content maintains consistency and quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability
  • Collaborates effectively with a creative team to integrate AI-generated and human-created design elements
  • Works with the instructional designer’s content to create graphics that reflect the objectives clearly, as well as the publisher’s graphics style, leveraging AI design tools while maintaining consistency
  • Effectively develop and refine prompts to achieve specific AI image and video designs that will be used as assets in elearning modules
  • Enhance AI-generated visuals using traditional design software
  • Develops storyboard layouts incorporating VO and AI-generated visual components
  • Preps images for animation and course development, including optimizing AI-generated imagery for technical requirements
  • Works with in house animator or an animation vendor to create visually effective original- and AI-created motion graphics
  • Creates course collateral materials using a combination of traditional design skills and AI-assisted tools
  • Prepares and packages graphic assets for localization vendors
  • Reviews layouts and assets for consistency
  • Work effectively within deadlines
  • Prepare and package graphic assets for use on the web
  • Builds training modules in KnowBe’s proprietary course authoring tool using completed assets
  • Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
  • Ensure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users
  • Evaluate and curate AI-generated content for quality, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives that abide by copyright and intellectual property considerations before integration into courses
  • Document best practices; research and recommend improvements to AI content creation workflows to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Create templates and frameworks that can be consistently applied when using AI writing tools and assist publishers in utilising them
