Graphic Designer & Video Editor

Summary

We are seeking a talented freelance content creator with experience in graphic design and video editing/production to collaborate with our marketing team on creating visually engaging content for various digital platforms. The candidate should have proficiency in graphic design & video editing software, excellent understanding of design principles, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design and video editing/creation with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work samples (short videos, social media content, brand templates)
• Proficiency in graphic design & video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Figma and Canva (or preferred advanced apps)
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
• Ability to translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling content that resonates with our target audience
• Proven experience with cross platform ideas, concepts and storytelling and the understanding of how these can and should be implemented across platforms is essential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Flexibility to accommodate changes in project scope, priorities, and timelines

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines
• Create high-quality visual content, including short videos (10-30 seconds), Instagram stories, TikTok videos, feed/carousel posts, and brand templates
• Ensure consistency in design elements, branding, and messaging across all content pieces
• Adapt designs to different platforms and screen sizes while maintaining visual appeal and effectiveness
• Incorporate feedback and revisions promptly to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

Creation of longer form video content a bonus, but not a requirement
