Summary

Join Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, as a Motion Graphic Designer & Video Editor/Producer to create engaging educational content for healthcare providers. This remote position involves video editing, motion graphics design, and post-production tasks. You will collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring brand consistency and developing AMI's motion design standards. The role requires extensive experience in video production, animation, and relevant software. This is a new in-house role, moving away from traditional outsourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relative fields
• 5+ years experience in Video Production, and onsite video shooting
• 5+ years of technical knowledge of digital media
• 5+ years of operating with video and audio equipment
• Able to make difficult and time-sensitive decisions during a project that leave little room for error and have wide-ranging impact on business and costs
• Must be able to apply a variety of new and emerging technology principles to the marketing environment
• Experience producing videos and animation for social media and websites
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent industry-standard software
• Ability to narrate stories through motion to improve user experience/interaction
• Must be comfortable in a medical environment and observing medical aesthetic procedures
• Excellent time and project management skills, embraces autonomy
• Ability to travel up to 40%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic is required

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage into high-quality content for various channels (didactic presentations, educational apps, websites, social media, learning modules, etc)
• Optimize videos for various platforms and devices
• Create video deliverables with provided assets, brief, and direction
• Repurpose and maximize existing videos with creative methods such as cutdowns, resizing, and re-editing
• Create visually engaging motion graphics/animations/3D/video for use across various channels
• Collaborate with graphic designers to develop and visualize concepts
• Use animation to enhance adult learning principles and convey complex ideas easily
• Manage post-production tasks including color grading, sound editing, and ability to trouble shoot tech specs and delivery issues with external vendors
• QC and ensure the quality and delivery of final files is without error
• Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm, storyboard, plan, and execute projects
• Safeguard that all materials are consistent with AMI brand guidelines/identity
• Develop AMI’s motion design standards and best practices
• Effectively deliver ideas, give and receive feedback
• Collaborate with external tech vendors
• Occasionally travel and film low-fi videos on location during live events, in-office medical trainings, and other academia-like settings
• Capable of serving as a hands-on technical director and video producer
• Set up and operate audio recording hardware and act as the audio recording engineer for voiceover narrations in a studio setting and as an audio field recorder for video productions
• Operate video, lights, cameras, and audio equipment
• Able to plan capital expenditures to support audio visual equipment, post-production equipment, and video data storage requirements as well as maintain inventory said equipment
• Develop creative solutions within the confines of FDA regulations
