Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience
  • High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or comparable tool
  • Strong storytelling abilities with a fluency in design and animation
  • Excellent sense of pacing, color, sound and brand consistency
  • Ability to manage digital files across multiple projects and timelines
  • You are a great teammate with strong interpersonal skills and respond well to feedback
  • Ability to uphold responsiveness and collaboration in a remote environment. You are an organized self-starter with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling visual narratives, ensuring alignment with the brand, the video's message and goals
  • Work on a variety of project types: sizzle videos, multiple ongoing scripted and unscripted series, product explainers, technical walkthroughs, webinar and event recaps, social media cutdowns, thought leadership content and more
  • Make our videos look and sound great (Color Grading & Sound Mixing)
  • Integrate motion graphics into video projects, working closely with internal partners and external vendors
  • Work collaboratively with video editors, producers, and designers
  • Proactively gather and implement feedback from team members and collaborators
  • Stay on top of multiple projects, managing editing contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time
  • Organize and manage assets, project files, and archives efficiently
  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks to ensure a high standard of visual and technical execution and the Elastic brand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on live-action sets, including DIT work and footage backups
  • Familiarity with high-tech/B2B content strategies
  • Experience in remote collaboration
  • Ability to learn new editing tools and modes of production
