Summary
The job description is for a Greenhouse Gas Management Professional at ERG, a research and consulting firm. The qualified individual will support organizational GHG management, develop tools and resources, analyze data, generate visualizations, write guidance documents, and interface with clients. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or engineering, Master’s degree preferred, 5+ years of relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, analytical skills, and fluency in Microsoft Office applications. The salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, and benefits include health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, and more.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge and familiarity with the GHG management topic areas outlined above
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including attention to detail and customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a manner that is understandable to a variety of audiences
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including fluency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle multiple projects and demands
Responsibilities
- Supporting program strategy by offering insights into organizational GHG management barriers and opportunities
- Supporting the development of tools and resources that organizations can use to facilitate their GHG management efforts
- Analyzing and characterizing GHG and sustainability data and trends and climate-related risks and opportunities
- Generating data visualizations
- Writing GHG management guidance documents and website content
- Supporting the development of web-based tools
- Supporting program communications
- Interfacing with clients
