Summary

The job is for a Ground Systems Engineer I at Rocket Lab's US offices. Requirements

• Mechanical, process or structural engineering degree or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in engineering design, test and/or operations in aerospace and/or industrial sectors
• 3D CAD & PLM software (e.g. SolidWorks & EPDM)

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and commission mechanical systems at launch sites, test sites, and mobile equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with launch pad or engine test systems OR oil and gas, process, mining, structural steel or other similar industry
• Experience with structural design and analysis
• Experience with fabrication/production of industrial machinery and equipment
• Experience with ASME, ASTM, and/or NASA ground system standards would be an asset
• NX and Teamcenter
