Summary
Join Seven Starling, a leading virtual provider of women's behavioral health services, as a Group Therapist. You will lead 5-7 online group therapy sessions weekly for pregnant, postpartum, and perinatal grief/loss patients. This fully remote, flexible role requires a minimum of one year of telehealth experience and experience running perinatal mental health groups. The ideal candidate is passionate about group therapy and improving mental health outcomes for underserved populations. Requirements
- Be currently independently licensed as a Psychologist with authority to practice under PSYPACT
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a telehealth setting
- Have experience running groups within perinatal mental health (e.g., NICU, women's clinic, women's PHP/IOP program)
- Have experience running virtual group therapy, preferably for at least 2 years
- Be comfortable learning new systems, and have experience with electronic medical records
Responsibilities
- Facilitate 55-minute telehealth sessions supporting pregnant, postpartum, and grief/loss perinatal mental health patients
- Participate in collaborative individual and group supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive peer consultation
- Provide input, feedback, and observations to support group curriculum development
- Lead groups in the evening (from 5 PM-8 PM EST, or 4 PM-7 PM CST, or 3 PM-6 PM MST, or 2 PM-5 PM PST)
- Be available to lead groups at least 2-3 days per week Monday-Friday
- Commit 5-10 hours per week, with opportunity to grow commitment over time
Preferred Qualifications
- Be licensed in NY
- Have experience, skill, and passion for facilitating online group therapy and serving perinatal patients
- Be proficient in structuring and leading virtual group therapy sessions
- Have clinical expertise utilizing evidence-based models of care
- Have expertise in building group sessions that drive patient participation, support, and healing
- Be an empathetic and intuitive listener with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work successfully in a dynamic environment
- Be comfortable and proficient with virtual platforms, electronic medical records, and Google Suite
