Guidewire Project Manager

Summary

Join Argo Group as a Guidewire Project Manager and play a pivotal role in migrating and rolling out Guidewire in the US Claims Department. This 12-18 month contract position, potentially remote, involves consolidating seven claims systems into a single global system. You will leverage your technical claims systems knowledge and insurance expertise to optimize processes and ensure the best solution for Argo's diverse needs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive claims experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for claim management. Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Have broad knowledge of professional and commercial coverages, including casualty, property and professional lines (minimum ten years’ experience)
• Possess advanced technical expertise related to claims negotiation, resolution, and settlement
• Have good business acumen (understanding of how an insurance company works)
• Be an independent decision maker who takes full responsibility for decisions, keeping risk and compliance central
• Be able to critically analyze and evaluate information and possible outcomes when making decisions
• Be able to build rapport and foster collaborative relationships with business partners

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage the consolidation of seven different claims systems into Guidewire
• Leverage mastery of technical claims systems knowledge to capitalize on opportunities to put superior processes in place
• Highlight the distinctions that separate Argo’s business from generic carriers to ensure proper Guidewire configuration
• Identify and create tools and information to guide users of Guidewire at all levels
• Develop novel solutions for problems requiring broad consideration of variables impacting multiple organizational areas
• Have an appreciation and passion for strong claim management
