Summary

The job is for Head of Design at Kittl, a fast-growing design platform with millions of users. The role involves setting the strategic vision for the design team, hiring new designers, managing KPIs, collaborating with various teams, and designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and graphics. The candidate should have leadership experience, professional experience in product design, expertise in design principles, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Leadership experience with other A* product designers
• Professional experience in product design for at least 8 years, delivering high-grade UI/UX for SaaS products or gaming, as well as designing editor interfaces
• Industry experience in the creative software industry (graphic, video, photo), with experience working on design editor platforms
• Expertise in design principles, typography, colour theory, and user-centred design principles with a proficiency in Figma and sharp eye for visual details
• Be KPI driven
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels
• Be a self-starter, motivated to take initiative, prioritise, and manage multiple project and leadership tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team across the business and cross-functionally with other teams
• Hire a Senior Product Designer for the Collaboration team
• Manage your team’s strategy, objectives, KPIs, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Kittl's business goals
• Use and communicate with data to track team and product design performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
• Collaborate with various teams to help develop and evolve the current product design proposition
• Design user flows, create wireframes, prototypes, and graphics that are intuitive and visually appealing
