Summary
Join Landbot, a leading No-Code Chatbot Builder, as the Head of Engineering. You will lead the engineering team, define the technical vision, and build a high-performance, innovative team. You will work alongside engineers, designers, and product managers in a dynamic, agile environment. Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years leading engineering teams in a tech environment
- Experience managing and scaling development teams in an agile environment
- Strong technical experience in roles such as T ech Lead, Engineering Manager, Software Engineer, Security, Infra, Data Engineer , or similar, allowing you to lead technical discussions within the team
- Advanced knowledge of software architectures, infrastructure, and DevOps methodologies
- Proficiency in Python , React and other programming languages, enabling development, integration, and automation to improve and streamline development processes
- A strong UI sensitivity with a focus on the end user as the ultimate validator of your product
- Experience working with large data volumes , ensuring low latency , and visualizing algorithms
- Familiarity with Google Cloud for data processing, integration, and storage
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Experience working closely with product teams and leadership in a tech company
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Spanish
- Authorization to work in Spain
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Landbot's technical strategy, aligned with business objectives
- Manage the engineering roadmap and ensure priorities are clear and aligned with the product vision
- Lead and expand the engineering teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
- Foster professional development within the team and lead hiring processes to fill key roles
- Improve workflows and development processes, ensuring best engineering practices are implemented across the organization
- Establish a scalable and agile environment
- Implement clear performance and quality metrics
- Oversee the technical infrastructure, including system architecture, networks, and deployments, to ensure high availability and performance
- Work closely with product, customer teams, etc β¦. to ensure that technical developments align with business and customer needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and evaluate new opportunities to incorporate innovations that strengthen Landbot's offering
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Collaborate with the Finance and HR teams to develop annual budgets and resource allocation plans, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Work closely with HR to design professional career paths for engineers, ensuring opportunities for training and career advancement within the team
Preferred Qualifications
Preferably, a background in Computer Engineering with experience in product, software, or tech companies , especially those in innovative sectors
