Requirements

  • Knowledge of the PHP ecosystem (or other object-oriented programming languages such as .NET or Java)
  • Proven experience in managing technical teams, establishing processes, driving change, creating career development plans, resolving conflicts, mentoring team members, and monitoring team performance
  • Proven ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality services while aligning teams and processes to exceed customer expectations
  • Experience coordinating complex business project deliveries and other key initiatives
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of the technical architectures of complex and scalable systems
  • Ability to see the big picture and understand the purpose behind the team’s work
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on driving effective solutions
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a dedication to developing others
  • Proficient in effective written and verbal communication with high-quality presentation skills in both Lithuanian and English

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Unit to achieve the financial targets of the unit
  • Take responsibility for the overall performance of the unit and continuously seek ways to improve it
  • Work with the Head of Business Unit to define the technical direction and identity of the unit
  • Hire, mentor, and develop team members while collaborating with them on personal and career growth
  • Design and implement an IT strategy that enables the team to grow and work efficiently
  • Stay informed about technological innovations and prepare cost-effective plans for implementing new solutions in the unit
  • Organize project kick-offs and ensure released projects adhere to NFQ global infrastructure standards
  • Address technical issues within the unit and with clients, identify technical risks, and implement preventive measures
  • Take ultimate responsibility for technical and architectural solutions for all team projects
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams
  • Actively participate in new customer landing processes
  • Identify technical business opportunities for existing clients by analyzing their technologies and proposing the most effective, value-driven solutions
