Head of Finance

Summary

Join Succinct, a company building zero-knowledge proof technology, as their Head of Finance. You will design and run resilient finance systems across fiat and crypto, leading budgeting, disbursements, reconciliation, and reporting. This role requires a strong foundation in traditional finance and deep fluency in crypto. You will oversee asset management, financial planning, revenue generation, and payment operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in senior financial leadership, preferably in Web3. Succinct offers above-market salary, generous equity, health insurance, and other benefits. Requirements

• 5+ years in senior financial leadership, preferably in Web3, foundations, or treasury entities
• Expertise in IFRS and GAAP, with understanding of crypto-specific accounting
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and financial applications
• Familiarity with financial infrastructure, blockchain-native tools and ability and desire to create custom tooling to fit the purpose
• Demonstrated success implementing scalable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes in high-velocity environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface confidently with technical, legal, and community stakeholders
• Self-directed and execution-driven; thrives in lean teams with a bias for hands-on ownership

Responsibilities

• Execute and scale a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Succinct's mission and objectives
• Oversee asset management, financial planning, revenue generation and payment operations
• Optimize capital allocation and financial runway
• Implement and scale robust internal controls to safeguard assets
• Prepare and present quarterly financial reports and statements with accuracy and transparency
• Manage relationships with banks, custodians, and trading desks
• Work with external advisors (accountants, auditors, tax advisors) to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to financial and tax regulations across relevant jurisdictions
• Handle on-chain financial activities, including multisignature transactions
• Partner with the executive team to build scalable financial processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with Succinct's ecosystem
• Knowledge of cross-border tax, compliance, or treasury management in crypto contexts
