Summary

Join our mission-driven company as Head of FP&A, leading forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. Partner with the CFO, VP Finance, and executive team to enhance decision-making. Own the company's financial model, build scalable planning processes, and drive resource allocation decisions. Lead the team in partnering with critical decision-makers to ensure efficient execution of company priorities. The ideal candidate possesses financial rigor, entrepreneurial instincts, and thrives in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or a high-performance FP&A team is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of related professional experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 3+ years experience at a high-growth start-up
  • Track record of growing responsibilities / scope and driving meaningful business impact through financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration
  • Track record of coaching / managing early career professionals; leadership potential
  • Ability to drive cross-functional planning and budgetary alignment
  • Ownership of both revenue and cost drivers

Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning
  • Partner closely with the CFO, VP Finance, department leaders, and the executive team to enhance decision making throughout the company with the Finance and shareholder lens
  • Own the company’s financial model
  • Build scalable planning processes
  • Help drive resource allocation decisions that support growth and margin improvement
  • Lead the team partnering with critical decision makers at the company to ensure critical company priorities are executed in the most efficient manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience overseeing multi-level team structures, including direct supervision of managers
  • Experience implementing new finance processes and / or systems
  • Experience in marketplace, ecommerce, or other B2C businesses
  • Strategy acumen
  • MBA
