Summary

Job Description: A Head of Operations & Finance is sought for Talently, a tech talent recruitment startup in Latin America. The role involves leading operational teams and defining and executing the strategy while optimizing processes and ensuring their execution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting or a startup
• Experience working with financial statements and construction of financial models (new businesses, projections, daily management)
• Experience leading teams and ability to work in a dynamic environment with people from different specialties
• Quantitative orientation, seeking data-driven decisions and strong numerical analysis support
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills
• Advanced level of English

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tech Recruitment (TRS)/People team, including a leader and recruiters, ensuring efficient service to partners and internal culture development
• Lead an analyst of administration and collections and a customer support analyst for financial and operational management of the business
• Support the founders in defining and executing the strategy, being the primary owner of the process and following up on OKRs quarterly, and representing operational teams in business decisions
• Build and optimize processes accompanied by clear playbooks for different Talently teams
• Establish clear SLAs and ensure their compliance from operational teams towards clients and internal users
• Represent operational teams in product spaces to prioritize development for internal users and client service
• Financial planning: develop and execute budget, manage the financial model, supervise cash flow, optimize costs (reduction of burn) and commission management
• Operational finance: lead the collections process, implementation of financial processes, creation of policies and guides for financial reporting
• Internal and external (to investors) report management
• Manage financial states with accounting teams in various countries
• Work with the CEO to ensure company fundraising, accompanying her in preparation, planning, strategy and complete fundraising process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in executing a business
• Knowledge of the startup/venture capital market
• Basic understanding of Product Management
