The job is for a Head of Product at Whalebone, a global cybersecurity company. The role involves leading the product strategy and execution, collaborating with various teams, ensuring timely access to accurate information about the product portfolio, understanding customer feedback, defining commercial strategies, and driving product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in product related positions
• 5 years of leading product related team
• 5 years of direct customer exposure
• Experience with definition of product strategy and ensuring delivery together with engineering
• Ability to present ideas and obtaining buy-indifferent from stakeholders including management
• Fluent spoken and written english
• Work from Brno offices

Responsibilities

• The team under your lead will be responsible for the product strategy definition and execution
• Together with the Sales, Customer Success Director and Consulting leads you will make sure that our Product is on par with current ideas, fantasies and requirements of the market
• Together with the Engineering Director you will make sure everything is delivered on time and according to business expectations
• You will make sure proper inter-team collaboration is set up
• Thanks to you, the whole Whalebone team will have timely access to accurate information about current and future status of our product portfolio and will understand our unique value proposition
• You will make sure you are in proper touch with the customers and have a first hand judgment about customer feedback and analyze how the product is used to make proper decisions for the future development
• Find the right balance between product related people directly reporting to you and in other teams but closely working with you
• Make sure our strategy includes the understanding of the industry outlook, leveraging 3rd party analysts and insight in the market of individual products
• You will define the commercial strategy of individual products including pricing, product tiers to maximize value for both the customers and Whalebone
• Be initiative in defining unclear responsibilities between teams to ensure ownership
• Drive individual product roadmaps and feature sets of our biggest and most important customers
• Drive the product integration visions with our industry partners such as Endpoint Protections and router security vendor
