Summary

Join VetsEZ as a fully remote HealthShare Application Developer to contribute to a Department of Veterans Affairs project. This role requires expertise in developing, administering, and configuring InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in multiple programming languages and database management. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and managing software solutions, debugging code, and working with various messaging standards. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant development experience are required. Additional qualifications, such as experience with VA projects and Agile methodologies, are preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 5+ years of development experience with Cache, Ensemble, and IRIS
  • Strong proficiency in MUMPS, ObjectScript, SQL, and XSLT
  • Experience with REST and SOAP interface protocols
  • Hands-on experience with Cache/IRIS database administration, including ODBC connectivity
  • Knowledge of database version compatibility and integration

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage software solutions in multiple programming languages
  • Administer and configure InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS
  • Debug and resolve defects in Cache ObjectScript
  • Work with HL7, JSON, and XML messaging standards
  • Manage large-scale databases, including migration and forecasting
  • Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting VA or federal IT projects
  • Hands-on experience with Cache/Ensemble/HealthShare tech stack
  • Experience with SAFe/Agile
  • Familiarity with GitHub version control
  • Ability to obtain a government clearance
